Why we built the whole stack at once.

2026

The bet

Most AI tools own a thin slice — the model, the workflow runner, or the editor. We bet the slice that matters is the one nobody sells: the connective tissue that lets a creative director move through a fragmented stack as if it were one tool. So we built Studio as the wedge, on Cloud as the substrate — one stack that shares identity, memory, and compute from day one. The wedge shows the value. The substrate makes the value defensible.

Why now

Two things happened in 2026 that hadn't happened before. First: the consumer AI-video apps converged on a chat-app shape, and one of the biggest pulled its standalone app. Production studios noticed — the consumer surface isn't the surface. Second: enterprise AI moved from a compliance ask to a budget line. Sovereign-AI rounds; an on-prem clause in every regulated RFP. The substrate to do creative AI without renting someone else's brain became necessary, not optional. We started building it before the wave hit.

What we shipped

Cloud — the orchestrator — is live today, serving teams with real, verified identity, real shared storage, and real GPU scheduling. The Agent (the headless GPU worker) and the cyberun CLI install with one line. Studio (the AI director) is in private alpha. Not slideware.

What we believe

Compute should stay where the work is.

Bring your own compute, not rented GPUs. Your hardware, our control plane.

AI workflows need memory, not just engines.

The accepted take, the working seed, the locked asset — these should persist as first-class objects.

Creator tools should respect the creator's taste.

Studio doesn't generate; it directs. The director is still you.

Creative state isn't chat memory.

Mem0, Letta, ChatGPT memory — all pointed at conversation. Production creative work has a different state shape: the accepted take, the locked character, the seed that survived three revisions. That state is the asset, not the chat. Studio treats it as one; Cloud stores it as a first-class object.

Where we are

Cloud is live. Studio is in private alpha, open to selected design partners. If any of this matches what you're building, the fastest way in is to email us.
